If the name or the photo of an entrant does not match, the inspector can choose to initiate a fingerprint test.
Gameplay
Fingerprint tests become available on day 4. When the test is initiated, a slip prints out and must be given to the entrant to verify their identity. An M.O.A fingerprint record will be printed out to check. If the fingerprints do not match or their supposed alias cannot be verified, the inspector can identify the discrepancy in the inspection mode and can choose whether or not to detain the entrant.
The M.O.A fingerprint record will also display if the entrant has any aliases. This information is needed if the entrant has different names on different documents.
Fingerprinting is mandatory on all asylum-seekers.
Conditions
Fingerprint option appears in the following cases:
- Person's height does not match.
- Person's name differs in different documents.
- Person's physical appearance descriptions do not match in access permit or ID supplement.
- Photos on different documents differ or do not match the person.
- Person shows Grant of Asylum.
